　テイクツー・インタラクティブ・ジャパンは本日（2012年1月27日），「Borderlands」（PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360）の廉価版となるPS3用ソフト「ボーダーランズ ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー・エディション」を，4月5日に発売すると発表した。価格は2980円（税込）。

　ボーダーランズは，地球から遠く離れた惑星「パンドラ」を舞台に，プレイヤーが一攫千金を狙うハンターとして，モンスターの討伐や盗賊退治などの仕事をこなしていくというFPSスタイルのRPG。セルシェーディングのグラフィックスが持つ独特な質感が目を引くタイトルで，スキルや新しい武器を手に入れながらキャラクターをじっくり育てられるというプレイ内容が高い人気を博した。

　GOTYエディションには，海外ではすでにリリースされている，以下3つのDLCが最初から収録されている。いわば“完全版”だ。

• 「Mad Moxxi'sUnderdomeRiot」
• 「The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned」
