「Borderlands 2」の最新DLC「Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage」のローンチトレイラー公開。人生はバクハツだ

　Gearbox Softwareは，発売中の「Borderlands 2」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）の最新DLCとなる「Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage」のローンチトレイラーを公開した。Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnageは，北米では現地時間の11月20日に，また昨日（2012年11月20日）に掲載した記事でもお伝えしたとおり，日本でも本日11月21日に配信が開始される。

　Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnageは，Borderlandsに登場する武器製造会社Torgue ManufacturerのオーナーであるMr. Torgueをメインにしており，彼が主催するアリーナ風の闘技場でトーナメントを行うというもの。このトーナメントにプレイヤーたちが無理やり巻き込まれていくことになる。
　小声で話した経験はおそらくないと思われる，高すぎるテンションのMr. Torgueだが，トレイラーの中でも，「新しいボルトが見つかった」というニュースを掻き消し，「人生はバクハツだ！」とばかりにまくし立てる様子が確認できる。


　アリーナコンバットは，2010年の前作「Borderlands」向けに配信されたDLC，「Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot」でもフィーチャーされたゲームモードだが，Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnageには，これ見よがしに揺らせながらMoxxiがカムバック。Tiny Tinaや新キャラクターのPistonと共に，Mr. Torgueのサイドキックとして活躍するようだ。

　もちろん，新しいボスキャラやクリーチャーも登場するという，充実したコンテンツになっており，CraterやBeatdown，Forgeといった惑星パンドラ各地に点在するアリーナを巡っていくというストーリーが繰り広げられる。また，アリーナコンバットの合間には，サーチ＆ディストロイ形式のミッションも用意されており，トータルで8時間から10時間ほど遊べるということだ。
