トーマスたちと共に作り込まれたソドー島を冒険する鉄道アドベンチャー「きかんしゃトーマス：ソドー島のふしぎな冒険」は3月17日発売へ

　Dovetail GamesとMattelは本日（2026年3月6日），「きかんしゃトーマス」を原作とする新作ゲーム「きかんしゃトーマス：ソドー島の不思議」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch）の発売日を3月17日に決定した。価格は以下のとおり。

　「きかんしゃトーマス：ソドー島のふしぎな冒険」は，シリーズでお馴染みの舞台「ソドー島」を冒険できるアドベンチャーゲームだ。トーマスをはじめとするキャラクターたちとともに，TVシリーズにインスパイアされたという8つのエピソードを楽しめる。


　子供向けの印象が強いIPだが，開発を担当するDovetail Gamesは，本格的な鉄道シム「Train Sim World」シリーズなどを手掛けたデベロッパであり，路線や風景の表現にはかなり力が入っている。発表によると，ストーリーを楽しむだけでなく，島の列車ダイヤを管理するシミュレーション要素もあるとのこと。


　通常版と同時にリリースされるデラックスエディションでは，プレイアブルキャラクターとしてジェームスが追加されるほか，新たに4つのアドベンチャーが収録される。トーマスの世界をより深く，広く楽しみたい人は要チェックだ。
