「Gears of War 2」，発売4週間で300万本を達成
Xbox 360向けゲームとして2008年11月7日に発売された，「Gears of War 2」の販売本数が300万本を突破した。
開発元であるEpic GamesのVice President Mark Rein氏によると，Microsoftから売り上げが300万本を越えた旨を伝えられたという。
2006年に発売された前作，「Gears of War」は500万本を超えた大ヒット作だが，300万本を売り上げるにはおよそ10週間かかった。前作の記録を抜くのも，時間の問題かもしれない。
