「フォートナイト」の協力PvEモード「世界を救え」，4月16日から基本プレイ無料化。限定ヒーローなどを獲得できる事前登録の受付を開始

　Epic Gamesは本日（2026年3月12日），バトルロイヤルゲーム「フォートナイト」（PC / Nintendo Switch 2 / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch / PS4 / Xbox One / Android）の協力型PvEキャンペーンモード「世界を救え」を4月16日から基本プレイ無料化すると発表し，事前登録の受付を開始した。


　「世界を救え」は，「フォートナイト」が2017年にスタートした際に実装された有料のPvEモードだ。プレイヤーは拠点を建設し，武器をクラフトしながら押し寄せるモンスターの群れに立ち向かう。アクションと建築要素を組み合わせた協力プレイが特徴で，毎回異なる展開を楽しめる。

　基本プレイ無料化に合わせて事前登録も開始されており，登録したプレイヤーはローンチ時に限定ヒーローなどのゲーム内報酬を受け取れる。また，既存プレイヤーには，これまでのプレイへの感謝としてスーパーチャージャーやバウチャー，ゴールドが4月16日に配布される予定だ。


　なお，「ファウンダーパック」購入者は，従来どおりデイリークエストやミッションアラート，ストームシールド防衛ミッションなどを通じてV-Bucksを獲得できる。準備のため，本日からは「世界を救え」の新規購入が一時停止されるが，既存プレイヤーはプレイを継続できるとのことだ。
