シリーズ最新作「Life is Strange: True Colors」が発表。海外では2021年9月10日にリリース予定

　スクウェア・エニックスは，本日（2021年3月19日）配信されたプレゼンテーション番組「Square Enix Presents Spring 2021」にて，シリーズ最新作「Life is Strange: True Colors」を発表した。対応ハードは，PC，PS5，PS4，Xbox Series X，Xbox One，Stadiaで，海外では2021年9月10日にリリースが予定されている。


　“人同士のつながり”や“共感”をテーマとする本作では，主人公のアレックスが兄に誘われてヘイブン・スプリングスという町にやってくるところから物語が始まる。アレックスは“人の感情を読む力”を持っており，これがプレイヤーにさまざまな選択を与えることになるとのこと。


　また今回の発表に合わせて，「Life is Strange」と「Life is Strange: Before the Storm」の2作が収録された「Life is Strange Remastered Collection」もアナウンスされた。こちらは，「Life is Strange: True Colors」のUltimate Editionに同梱されるほか，スタンドアロン版も用意されており，2021年秋にリリース予定となっている（日本向けの配信は未定）。
