「セインツロウ」リブート版は国内向けにも2022年2月25日リリースへ。アクション，犯罪，そしてユーモアたっぷりの一作

　Koch Mediaは本日（2021年10月1日），クライムアクションシリーズ「Saints Row」（セインツロウ）のリブート版となる「セインツロウ」（PC / PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One）を，日本国内に向けて2022年2月25日にリリースすると発表し，各販売店での予約受付を開始した。PC版はEpic Gamesストア（※外部リンク）での配信で，参考までに価格は6180円（税込）。国内リリース日は，8月に発表された海外リリース日と同じだ。
　なお予約者には，スキンセットと思われる初回封入特典DLC「アイドルアナーキーパック」をもれなくプレゼントするとのこと。
　またPS5とPS4に向けては，エクスパンションパスやグッズを同梱した豪華版となるパッケージ製品「ノートリアスエディション」を，数量限定で展開するという。



　リブート作品となる本作は，Deep Silverに属する開発会社・Volitionの指揮で制作されているオープンワールド型のアクションアドベンチャーゲーム。アクションや犯罪，ユーモアといったシリーズの特徴を継承しながらも，本作で初めてセインツロウの世界に触れるプレイヤーでも楽しめるゲームを目指して制作を進めているという。

　その舞台は，アメリカ南西部の中央に位置する活気あふれる架空の都市「サント・イレソ」。犯罪が横行し，法をものともしないさまざまな勢力が権力を手にしようと争っているこの都市で，プレイヤーは仲間達と犯罪行為に手を染め，世界の頂点へと成り上がっていく。


　プレイヤーは未来のボスとして，ニーナ，ケビン，イーライの3人と共に「セインツ」を結成。セインツは，犯罪行為やサイドビジネス，“超大型ミッション”の数々をこなし，ロス・パンテロス，アイドルズ，マーシャルという強豪達を相手に，この街で自分達の帝国を築き上げ，支配権を勝ちとるのだ。
