“音速”スタイルのハイスピードアクション「Freedom Planet 2」，4月4日にSwitch版を国内リリース。海外ではPS5/4版やXbox版も

　Xseed Gamesは2024年1月23日，「Freedom Planet 2」（PS5 / PS4 / Nintendo Switch / Xboxプラットフォーム）を4月4日に発売することを明らかにした。


　本作は，GalaxyTrailが開発し2022年にPC版（Steam / itch.io）をリリースしたタイトルで，往年のスピーディな2Dプラットフォームアクションを踏襲したゲームデザインとなっている。主人公は，ドラゴンのライラック，ヤマネコのキャロル，バセットハウンドのミラ，パンダのニーラといった4人のヒロインだ。ゲームは全24ステージで構成されており，前作には無かったボスラッシュモードも搭載されている。

　日本向けの販売に関して，Nintendo Switch版のストアページが公開されており，価格は2900円（税込。4月10日までは10％オフの2610円）。現状のPC版は英語のみ対応しているが，Nintendo Switch版は日本語を含む多言語対応となっている。Xboxプラットフォームでは海外販売のタイトルを日本から購入できるケースもあるが，本作もそうなるかは今のところ不明だ。
